Andrea Messina

Andrea Messina is an Executive Director and Partner at CVS Health® Ventures. She leads a Market Development team focused on enabling growth with portfolio companies, facilitating collaboration through our limited partner strategy and external venture relationships, as well as engaging business units across CVS Health to drive enterprise value and impact through investments. Andrea partners internally with CVS Health leaders and externally with innovative companies and entrepreneurs to identify opportunities that further our enterprise strategy, enhance our existing capabilities and accelerate growth and innovation through partnerships, investments and other strategic relationships.

Andrea joined CVS Health in early 2021, managing a team focused on the development of clinical solutions that leverage CVS® assets and Enterprise channels to improve outcomes for members and generate value for the organization. Before joining CVS Health, Andrea was a Senior Director of Business Development at Mass General Brigham (MGB), where she focused on commercialization of MGB assets and collaborations to drive innovative solutions in care delivery, AI/ML and digital health. Prior to her role in Business Development, Andrea was a Senior Manager in Business Planning at MGB, leading strategic initiatives for the health system such as value-based care, contract and pricing strategy, mergers and acquisitions, new business ventures and network development.

Fun fact

Andrea enjoys running, traveling and spending time with her family. She is a rare disease advocate and administrator for a community group supporting families who manage care for patients with HECW2 gene mutations.
