      Desmond (Des) Bergin is responsible for evaluating startups for CVS Health® Ventures. He helps build investment perspectives in alignment with our key areas of interest.

      Originally from Natick, MA, Des received his Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University where he concentrated in government with a secondary concentration in economics. Des joined our team in 2021. Before CVS Health, he worked in strategy at an early stage startup following his minor league professional hockey career.

      Fun fact

      Outside of work, Des competes in a variety of sports and activities with and against friends. He is actively trying to maintain those friendships by working on his ability to be gracious in both victory and defeat.
